Hunter S. Thompson Fear and Loathing 50K -- December 17, 2006 A Savage Journey to the Heart of the American Dream. This was the first year for the Zombies to direct the Hunter S. Thompson Fear and Loathing 50K/50M. We had a great time, tooling around San Francisco, taking care of the runners (ably assisted by our fine F&L volunteers). These photos were shot at Twin Peaks (the start/finish), at the Marina, and on the way to the Seacliff aid station.
